Polished, Not Fashion Victim
19:58
NAIE SOURIE
Getting dressed for the office doesn't mean leaving your personal style behind. Find out which looks give you a polished, professional look and which fashions can be a career killer.
Polished, Not Fashion Victim
Your goal to getting dressed for work is to project a professional, competent image, regardless of your employment level or career path.
The styles, colors, lengths and fit of your fashion choices will speak volumes about your ability to do your job. If you are concerned about your career, you'll be more concerned with looking professional than looking cute or trendy.
In general, the more distracting a piece of clothing or jewelry is, the less appropriate it is for office wear.
More guidelines to looking polished :
- Color plays a big part in professional image. Traditional career colors include red (aggressive), navy (trustworthy), gray (conservative) and black (chic). Most of these colors work well in pantsuits, skirts and shoes and mix back with softer feminine colors that are appropriate like ice blue, lilac, soft pink and ivory. Loud colors like hot pink and wild prints are much riskier in the office, but some creative types can still pull them off.
- Jewelry that jangles (chandelier earrings, stacks of bangles) is distracting. Opt for stud earrings or single bracelets.
- Slouchy handbags look sloppy. Choose structured styles that project an organized image.
- Most of what constitutes a polished image is in the details: manicured nails, run-free hose, scuff-free shoes, neat hair.
- Fit is everything when you are talking about tailored work clothes. Pants should be fitted, but free of visible panty lines. Skirts, especially straight styles like pencil skirts, should be loose enough to sit down in comfortably. Jackets should be able to be buttoned. And blouses shouldn't gap between buttonholes.
- Designer labels are great, but heavily logoed clothing and accessories look cluttered and frivolous in the work place. A small designer bag is fine; a logo trench coat looks ridiculous. Choose well-made items that are free from obvious designer labels for the most professional look.

Dress to fit the audience
23:14
NAIE SOURIE
Corporate businesses : such as finance, banking, accounting and law call for the traditional business suit. If you have an interview with a company and don't know the dress code, a suit is always the best option.
Creative businesses : such as advertising, art, fashion, marketing and entertainment allow you to express yourself more, including unusual colours, fabrics and on trend fashion. It does not mean wild and wacky. You want to come across creative but competent.
People-Oriented businesses : like teaching, medicine, social work, etc., call for business attire that both conveys expertise but is non-threatening. Collars and coordinated separates are suitable. The goal is to look knowledgeable yet still approachable.
Presenting - when you are in front of an audience presenting you need to chose the attire to suit the event. You typically want to dress to fit the audience attire, so they can relate to you and feel at ease. Make sure you ask the organiser or research the event to find out what the dress attire will be. When in doubt, always dress up, rather then down. You can always take a jacket off to make it less formal.

Corporate dressing tips for women
21:34
NAIE SOURIE
As corporate professionals in the modern age, the aim is not at the outlandish or fashionable clothing, but at clothes which speak with authority, dignity, and good taste. It is good to invest in quality, not quantity, especially if money is a great concern.
Dressing appropriately is essential for developing poise, self-confidence, and self-esteem. The moment someone looks at you, he or she begins to make value judgments as to your economic and educational level, trustworthiness, social position, sophistication, and moral character. Whether we like it or not, it is a reality that we have to face.
For women, a two-piece suit is a must in the wardrobe. A dress and jacket are feminine and presentable but lack the versatility of the classic suit. The 55 percent wool and 45 percent polyester blend is you best choice. In warmer climate, you may prefer cotton or linen. Instead, Naie Sourie now provide you one-piece suit which just look like two-piece suit. We already make the match for you.
Your suit should be solid in one of the five basic shades—black, brown, navy, gray, camel, or white. Most women suit the classic, clean-cut lines of the Channel jacket with a soft dirndl or slightly gored skirt. And plus at Naie Sourie,we even have Malay Traditional design which has already been evolved to make it corporate look.
To pull your look together, you may wear a hose that elongates your body and complement the ensemble. Choose earth tones for a brownish outfit, charcoal with blacks and darker colors, soft gray with gray tones, and navy with navy-based colors. For a blush of color don’t hesitate to include sea mint, violet or powder blue in your wardrobe hose.
Shoes should be of fine leather and in the classic pump style. Black and brown are basics, but navy and bone are also perfectly acceptable.
A strong confident woman does not need a lot of jewelry. Pearls will take you round the clock, 12 months a year, and will not intimidate anyone. Gold and silver subtle pieces are also safe. Tiny stud earrings are perfect for day with a pearl, gold, or silver necklace.

Tips pemilihan warna
20:38
NAIE SOURIE

Have a nice day!!! ;)

Semangat Rakyat Malaysia Yang Positif
18:29
NAIE SOURIE
Petikan daripada facebook Dato' Dr. Haji Mohd Fadzilah Kamsah :
"As salamu'alaikum sahabat FB yg d kasihi. Syukur n tahniah krn masih hidup, beriman n berfikiran positif. Tahniah juga kpd Harimau Muda (HM) krn memenangi pingat emas. Pengajaran penting yg kita dpt drp kejayaan HM tersimpul dlm hadis Nabi saw: Allah bila nak beri kebaikan kpd hambaNya, d mulai dgn musibah. Pasukan HM mengharungi ujian getir bermula dgn jadual perlawanan di ubah2, tempat latihan terlalu jauh, d hina media tempatan, d ganggu dlm perjalanan ke Gelora Bung Karno, etc. Justeru, jika ada d antara kita yg hadapi sebarang masalah atau ujian, besabarlah, betulkan niat n amal, doa yg kudus, buat yg terbaik n tawakkal kpd Allah. Kejayaan insya Allah menunggu kita. Wassalam"
Perlawanan berlangsung ketika butik Naie Sourie masih dalam waktu operasi. Jalanraya kelihatan sangat lengang.

You Will When You Believe
20:24
NAIE SOURIE
Many nights we pray
With no proof anyone could hear
And our hearts a hopeful song
We barely understand
Now we are not afraid
Although we know there's much to fear
We were moving mountains long
Before we know we could
Oh yes, there can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
It's hard to kill
Who knows what miracle
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe
In this time of fear
When prayer so often proves in vain
Hope seems like the summer birds
Too swiftly flown away
And now I am standing here
My heart's so full, I can't explain
Seeking faith and speaking words
I never thought I'd say
There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
It's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will
You will when you believe
They don't always happen when you ask
And it's easy to give in to your fear, ohh
But when you're blinded by your pain
Can't see your way safe through the rain
Thought of a still resilient voice
Says love is very near
There can be miracles
When you believe
Though hope is frail
It's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles
You can achieve
When you believe
Somehow you will, how you will
You will when you believe

Corporate Fashion - The basics

Moving into a corporate environment doesn't mean your wardrobe has to have a complete overhaul. You can cleverly incorporate your own personal touches into your 9 to 5 style, all you need is a few key pieces that will give you a professional edge.

- A good quality suit jacket with a pant and skirt option sets a great foundation for you to build on. A black suit and a grey suit with a classic cut will get you off to a good start.
- Don't go for sky-scraping heels, opt instead for a mid height heel (Nine West and MIDAS have a wide selection), and invest in some Dr Scholls ‘Party Feet’ inserts to take the pressure off while you get used to being in heels all day.
- A leather handbag will give your ensemble a polished look, you can afford to let your style shine through with your handbag, so look for interesting details like button and pockets or even a vivid colour like red or plum, try Oroton for classic styles with up-to-the-minute touches.
- Soften your look with satin and chiffon blouses or camisoles under your suiting. This is where you can be a little more trend-driven with your choices, pick up styles in this winters hottest colours, bright purples, strong red and ultramarine blue.
- Jewellery also gives your look an edge, add bangles, a necklace or pin a chic brooch to your lapel.
- In winter, add a colourful or chunky knit scarf to your suit, and some stylish leather boots to cope with the cooler weather. In summer you can swap your suit jacket for a cardigan, and your boots for some peep-toe heels. You can add and subtract these to your basic suits for all year-round style.
